A Barnesville grandmother is spitting mad following an incident involving her grandchildren, toy guns and a crop duster.
Eileen Plath says her grandsons ages six and 9 years old and a 12-year-old grand nephew were only playing when they pointed their toy guns at a crop sprayer flying over a relatives farm near Wolverton, Minn on Monday.
The crop sprayer pilot Eric Klindt, worried they were pointing guns at his plane, and reported it to Wilkin County authorities.
Plath says it wasn't long before the sheriff showed up to question the boys. Plath also says the boy's must now write letters of apology to the crop sprayer.
Klindt says he's sorry about the trouble, but he says recent incidents in Iowa and Texas where crop dusters were shot at left him a little jumpy.
