ND Schools Begin, Police Urge To Drive With Caution

Fargo, West Fargo and many other North Dakota kids head back to school today.

FARGO - Fargo, West Fargo and many other North Dakota kids head back to school today.


Police are increasing their presence in the school zones, and you're urged to pay close attention when driving near the schools.


Fargo Police Sgt. Tom Shaw says, “It’s always a good idea for people to be watching for younger children who aren’t used to walking to school.”

Also watch out for school buses, and make sure you're stopping when you see those flashing lights and stop arms extended.
