A Republican state House candidate from Grand Forks is withdrawing from the race.
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - A Republican state House candidate from Grand Forks is withdrawing from the race.
Josh Schreiner is bowing out because of personal medical issues.
The 22-year-old University of North Dakota student won the GOP primary in June.
Schreiner said in a statement that he hopes for privacy ``in this trying time'' for him and his family.
