Man Arrested For Setting Fire, Assault

A report of a fire on an apartment balcony in south Fargo ended with two arrests.

The call to 2521 Villa Drive came in shortly after 1 a.m. Thursday. Police say 24-year-old Nicholas Olds, who lives in the apartment, was arrested for setting a fire on the balcony following an argument with a woman. He's expected to be charged with endangering by fire and aggravated domestic assault.

Zachary Allen, 23, of Moorhead was at the apartment when police arrived. They discovered outstanding arrest warrants for him.
