WEST FARGO, N.D. - The Costco store in West Fargo is set to open Oct. 23.

Manager Angela Bauer says 200 employees have been hired. Mark Vaux, West Fargo economic development director, says the big box wholesale retailer is a magnet for growth in the city's newest development, known as The Preserve, southwest of I-94.

Construction on the 500,000 square foot store started in May. It's the first Costco store in North Dakota.
