Cause Determined For Moorhead Fire

It was spontaneous combustion from rags used for staining that started a fire in north Moorhead last night.

 

 

 

 

MOORHEAD, Minn. - It was spontaneous combustion from rags used for staining that started a fire in north Moorhead last night.

The fire, at 2620 2nd Ave. N., broke out around 9:30 p.m. The building is up for sale, and previously housed Bert's Truck Equipment.

The fire started in an area of the building that was being rented to someone who was doing staining work.
