Hundreds of pounds of copper wire was stolen during a break-in at Bergstrom Election in North Fargo sometime Monday night or early Tuesday.

Fargo police say a back door to the business was pried open to gain entry. Investigators say it appears the thieves used a company crane to steal the copper.

The wire is a popular target for thieves because of increasing prices for metals.
