BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Three people arrested in a North Dakota counterfeit case have been charged in federal court.
Shawn Patton and Kasi Switzer, both of Las Vegas, are accused of manufacturing at least $10,000 in bogus bills.
Authorities say Switzer and Travis Linseth passed the bills to several businesses in Watford City.
Preliminary hearings are scheduled Thursday in Bismarck.
The three defendants were originally arrested by Watford City police, which had received complaints from local banks about counterfeit bills.
A federal public defender was not immediately available for comment.
