More Details On "Coats For Kids And Families Too"

Radio Fargo-Moorhead and KFGO are major media sponsors for the Salvation Army’s "Coats for Kids and Families Too." We’ve always supported the Salvation Army, and look forward to helping families stay warm this winter.

Coats For Kids and Families Too kicks off this Saturday, September 1st in "Thunder Alley" before the Bison football season-opener.

The drive will go through Monday, September 24, 2012. Our goal is to collect 5000 "gently used" winter items such as coats, hats, mittens, and boots for kids and families too.

We hope to have our distribution on Thursday, October 11th, after Camelot Cleaners has time to dry clean all the goods. Sanford Health supports the cost for cleaning.

The distribution site is tentatively set for the Moorhead office of the Salvation Army, located at 1503 1st Ave in Moorhead.

There will be a major “blitz” day here at our studio offices on September 19th, in our Radio Fargo-Moorhead parking lot, which is located at 1020 S. 25th Street Fargo, ND 58103.
