RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Two more people have died in a motorcycle crash during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in western South Dakota.

The deaths were the seventh and eighth traffic fatalities since Sunday during this year's bike rally.

Only four motorcycle deaths were recorded during rally week last year.

The South Dakota Highway reports that 53-year-old Timothy Mueller of Bloomfield, Nebraska died after his motorcycle collided Wednesday with a utility task vehicle on South Dakota Highway 34 west of Belle Fourche.

Sixty-three-year-old Delane Nixon of Belle Fourche, a passenger in the utility task vehicle, also died.

The Highway Patrol says charges are pending the driver of the utility task vehicle, 59-year-old John Teigen of Belle Fourche, who also received serious injuries in the crash.
