Amidon, N.D. (AP) - Crews are battling a 75-acre wildfire on the Little Missouri National Grasslands in western North Dakota.
The U.S. Forest Service says the Deep Creek 12 fire was reported Friday morning. The blaze about 15 miles northwest of Amidon is burning in grass and sagebrush. No structures are threatened.
The Forest Service says hot temperatures, low humidity and strong winds have increased the fire danger in the region.
