MOORHEAD, Minn. - A father and son from Moorhead landed in jail after police broke up a fight at their home.
Police responded to a 911 call at 1319 7th Avenue North around 1:45 a.m. where they found the two fighting and injured.
Sgt. Mike Detloff says, as police attempted to break it up, the father tried to kick officers out of the home and had to be tazed. His son then turned on police and also had to be tazed.
By the time the free-for-all was over, 62-year-old Humberto Rodriguez had been tazed three times. All involved in the melee had minor injuries. Rodriguez' son, 24-year-old Bryan, had to be medically cleared at Sanford before being taken to jail.
The two face a number of charges including assault on a police officer.
