Man Arrested In Moorhead Assault

A Fargo man has been arrested on charges of assault and sexual assault for an attack on a woman in downtown Moorhead earlier this month.

A Fargo man has been arrested on charges of assault and sexual assault for an attack on a woman in downtown Moorhead earlier this month.

Richard Haaland, 46, was arrested during a police search of his home in north Fargo.

It happened in the early morning of Sept. 6 near Main Avenue and 5th Street. Video from near the crime scene helped identify Haaland as the suspect.
