Man Drowns In Lake Oahe After Diving From Bridge

A man drowned in Lake Oahe over the weekend after diving off a bridge near Gettysburg.

GETTYSBURG, S.D. (AP) - A man drowned in Lake Oahe over the weekend after diving off a bridge near Gettysburg.

Cheyenne River Sioux police say that 38-year-old Robert Robideau, of Swift Bird, dove off the bridge Sunday and tried to swim to shore.

Authorities unsuccessfully tried to revive him.
