Early Morning Assault In Downtown Fargo

A man is hospitalized with serious injuries after he was assaulted in downtown Fargo early this morning.

FARGO - A man is hospitalized with serious injuries after he was assaulted in downtown Fargo early this morning.


Jeff Fonder called 911 to report the assault. He works at Dempsey's and heard the beating from inside the bar. Fonder ran into the alley where he found the victim on the ground, being beaten and robbed.


Sargent Jim Kringlie says 24-year-old Cody Enwesi was arrested at the scene.


A man and woman with Enwesi were detained for questioning and then taken to detox. They could also be facing charges.
