FARGO - It's not an everyday occurance in Fargo, and Police Sergeant Jared Crane is thankful.
Just before bar closing time, Crane was driving in the 500 block of Broadway when he felt something hit his squad. He got out to check and discovered someone had tossed a large brick or chunk of concrete at his squad.
Several people saw the man who tossed it. He was crouched behind some bushes before-hand and took off running afterwards. Police were unable to find the man, but got a decent description of him and will continue to try to track him down.
Crane was not hurt, but the squad was damaged. He says it hit just below his driver's door, and had it hit higher, he has no doubt he would've been hit by the brick or flying concrete.
