Man Charged In Mother's Stabbing Death

A Rosemount man is charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing death of his mother in St. Cloud.

 

 

 

 

ST. CLOUD - A Rosemount man is charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing death of his mother in St. Cloud.

Chad Pulju, 40, is accused of stabbing Geraldine Bennett, 68, in the face, neck and arm early Thursday morning. She died of sharp force injuries a short time later at St. Cloud Hospital.

The criminal complaint says officers found Pulju standing near his mother with blood on his shirt, not offering medical assistance.

A folding knife was found underneath his left leg.

The judge set Pulju's bail at 300-thousand dollars.
