Nine Street Signs Stolen In Bemidji, Minn.

City leaders in Bemidji, Minn. were not amused when they discovered someone stole nine Stoner Avenue street signs last weekend.

City leaders in Bemidji, Minn. were not amused when they discovered someone stole nine Stoner Avenue street signs last weekend.

City Engineer Craig Gray said some of the sign posts were moved as well.

"In a lot of cases, the actual sign post itself was physically pushed over with a piece of equipment or a car," said Gray. "The folks that stole them actually took apart the anti-theft hardware that the sign plates were mounted to the pole with."

Police are looking for the stolen signs and whoever took them.
