Minneapolis (AP) - Some Minnesota theaters are taking extra precautions after the deadly shooting at a Colorado cinema.

AMC Theatres, which runs seven theaters in Minnesota, says it won't allow any face-covering masks, fake weapons or costumes that make other moviegoers uncomfortable. They say they would "honor our existing policy'' if customers wanted to refund or exchange tickets.

Mall Of America Spokesman Dan Jasper says the theaters there also added extra precautions, but he wouldn't comment on what additional security measures may be taken.

The Star Tribune reports some theaters aren't taking addition precautions, including the Woodbury 10 Theatre in Minneapolis and The Muller Family Theatres' eight locations.
