In anticipation of Hurricane Isaac, officials with the American Red Cross are mobilizing response crews for possible relief efforts in Louisiana and other Gulf States.

In anticipation of Hurricane Isaac, officials with the American Red Cross are mobilizing response crews for possible relief efforts in Louisiana and other Gulf States.

Sean Coffman of the American Red Cross, Minn-Dak region, says the first of two emergency response vehicles headed out this morning. A second crew will leave early Thursday, and a third vehicle will be on stand-by.

The American Red Cross has already prepared shelters in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana in anticipation.
