West Acres Surveillance Helps Track Dog Thieves

A dog stolen from a pet store at West Acres three weeks ago has been recovered and charges are expected against two suspects.

 

 

 

 

FARGO - A dog stolen from a pet store at West Acres three weeks ago has been recovered and charges are expected against two suspects.

The Lhasa Apso puppy, valued at more than $500, was stolen from "Pets R' Inn" Aug. 2.

Police Lt. Joel Vettel tells KFGO News the surveillance video of the theft helped track down the suspects and the dog in Fergus Falls. He says it started with a tip to an Otter Tail County Sheriff's Deputy.

The case will be forwarded to the Cass County State's Attorney for charges.
