House Fire Reported In Grand Forks County

A woman was treated for smoke inhalation following a house fire at her rural Northwood, N.D. home early Friday morning.

A woman was treated for smoke inhalation following a house fire at her rural Northwood, N.D. home early Friday morning.


The homeowner had tried to put out the fire with an extinguisher before fire crews arrived.


Investigators said the fire, which started in the bathroom, may have been sparked by either a candle or space heater.


The fire caused about $10,000 in damage.
