A six-year-old boy is dead following a shooting at a north Minneapolis home early Tuesday morning.
Police Sergeant Steve McCarty said someone stood outside the home firing several rounds inside.
"At the present time there's nobody in custody," said McCarty. "There's some information on possible suspects. Homicide investigators as well as the crime scene unit is here processing the scene.
An adult inside the home was injured by gunshot fragments.
The home is about 20 blocks from a house where a 3-year-old boy was killed by a stray bullet six months ago.
