Fargo police are searching for two men who robbed a check cashing business Monday night.

Lieutenant Joel Vettel said two men armed with semi-automatic handguns entered the Check-n-Go at 2301 South University Drive and got away with an undetermined amount of cash.

"This always represents what we try to tell everyone," said Vettel. "It's only money. Give them the cash. Give them the property. The last thing we want to do is have somebody injured or killed as a result of these types of incidences because they didn't cooperate with the individuals."

Police set up a perimeter around the business and brought in a canine from Moorhead, but the dog was not able to establish a scent.

Investigators plan to look through surveillance video from surrounding businesses for clues.

Vettel said the suspects were black and wore bandanas over their faces. They each wore a long-sleeve black shirt. One was wearing red shorts, the other had blue shorts.

No one was hurt in the incident.
