A former University of North Dakota basketball star is behind bars in Grand Forks after being accused of owing more than $100,000 in child support.

 

 

 

 

A former University of North Dakota basketball star is behind bars in Grand Forks after being accused of owing more than $100,000 in child support.

Jerome Beasley is in custody after being wanted by the Grand Forks Sheriff's Department.

Authorities say he has not paid child support for at least seven months.

He was on Grand Forks County Sheriff Department's “most-wanted” list before being arrested last week.

Beasley played for UND between 2001 and 2003, and later in the NBA for a short time.
