Pump Break: Gasoline Prices Falling In N.D., S.D.

Gasoline prices are falling in North Dakota and South Dakota, and an analyst says they should continue to decline in the coming weeks.

 

 

 

 

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Gasoline prices are falling in North Dakota and South Dakota, and an analyst says they should continue to decline in the coming weeks.

South Dakota's average gasoline price dropped 3.4 cents a gallon in the past week.

In North Dakota, the price drop was smaller. The average price fell 1.7 cents per gallon in the last week.

In both North Dakota and South Dakota, the statewide average price for a gallon of gasoline was $3.57 last week. The national average was $3.61.

GasBuddy petroleum analyst Patrick DeHaan said he is expecting fuel prices to continue to decline because of lower oil prices and increased supplies.
