UND Women's Hockey Coach Signs Contract Extension

University of North Dakota women's hockey coach Brian Idalski has signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him in charge of the team through the 2016-17 season.

 

 

 

 

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - University of North Dakota women's hockey coach Brian Idalski has signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him in charge of the team through the 2016-17 season.

UND spokesman Derek Koenen says the base salary is $116,777, and there are performance-based bonus incentives.

Idalski guided North Dakota to a 22-13-3 record last season, his fifth behind the bench. It was the most successful season in program history and the team's first postseason appearance.

UND also recently signed contract extensions with football coach Chris Mussman and men's basketball coach Brian Jones.
