Senator Amy Klobuchar is satisfied with how the Justice Department wants to investigate a rash of national security leaks.
Some Republicans want to appoint an outside special counsel to look into the issue, but Klobuchar said Attorney General Eric Holder's plan to appoint two federal prosecutors is sufficient.
"It seems to me that these people are very credible that are looking into the leaks," said Klobuchar. "Also, it will happen on an expedited basis. Sometimes these outside counsels can take years to get things done and I think given the national security risk, the sooner we get this done, the better."
Klobuchar, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said people may disagree on who should investigate the leaks, but there is widespread agreement that they must be investigated.
