There were lines outside polling sites in Fargo Tuesday morning as people waited for doors to open for voting in the primary election.

A long slate of candidates and a number of statewide constitutional measures are expected to bring out big numbers of voters.

One of the top issues is Measure 2, which would eliminate property taxes but require the state to replace the lost revenue. A sample of voters outside polling sites found most voted against Measure 2 and very few were for it.

Recent polls suggest that state voters will overwhelmingly defeat eliminating property taxes in Tuesday's primary.

Polls are open until 8 p.m.
