A special committee made up of Fargo School Board members and Bluestem Center for the Arts officials have agreed to move forward in creating an oversight group.
Members discussed fund raising issues as Bluestem has not been able to pay back a $2.8 million loan.
School Board President Jim Johnson said they will develop a plan to clear confusion.
"I feel like I'm in limbo, and I think I've been there since January," said Johnson. "We're going to develop each and every component going forward in a manner where both Fargo Public Schools and Bluestem, the two people that control the facility, have a clear, on-the-same-page concept of how this is going to work."
The oversight group would decide how to run operations involving booking, utilization of the facility and promotions. The group would be made up of stakeholders and community members.
