A hot pursuit with a hot car.
Minnesota state troopers started the chase north of Moorhead this afternoon.
They were after a new, black camaro.
North Dakota highway patrol sergeant Troy Hischer spotted the Camaro near Harwood and chased it south, toward West Fargo. He called off the pursuit as he approached city traffic with speeds reaching 135 mph.
The car was dumped behind a row of apartment garages in the 1600 block of Dakota Drive. It was damaged as the driver crashed into construction barricades on 12th Avenue, west of Interstate-29.
The search is on for the driver.
The car was reported stolen from a dealership.
