EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) - Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Letroy Guion has aggravated the right knee injury he suffered in the team's first preseason game.

Guion didn't participate in practice on Wednesday, his knee wrapped in a white compression sleeve. Guion got hurt on Aug. 11 on the first series at San Francisco when he sprained the posterior cruciate ligament in the knee. He sat out the next exhibition last Friday against Buffalo but was back on the field this week wearing a bulky black brace.

He was expected to play this Friday against San Diego until a setback during practice on Tuesday.

Guion has made little impact in four career seasons, but the Vikings are counting on him to hold down the critical nose tackle spot after re-signing him to a three-year contract.
