N.D. Gov. Urges Speedy, Safe Building Of Pipelines

Governor Jack Dalrymple on Thursday urged pipeline industry officials to quickly, and safely, expand North Dakota's pipeline network to keep pace with record production in the state's booming oil patch.

 

 

 

 

 BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Governor Jack Dalrymple on Thursday urged pipeline industry officials to quickly, and safely, expand North Dakota's pipeline network to keep pace with record production in the state's booming oil patch.

Dalrymple told an audience or more than 100 industry and government officials in Bismarck that increasing the state's pipeline infrastructure will help curb impacts in the oil-producing region of western North Dakota.

Dalrymple says increasing the number of pipelines in North Dakota will reduce truck traffic, curb natural gas flaring and spur more markets for the state's oil and natural gas.
