FARGO, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota State University golfer Amy Anderson had an impressive showing on an international stage.

The 19-year-old from Oxbow finished second at the recent World University Golf Championship in the Czech Republic. She shot 16 under par over four rounds, finishing one stroke behind Spain's Camila Hedberg Bertrand.

Spain won the 16-team tournament by a tiebreaker over the U.S. squad that also included golfers from Georgia and Michigan State.

Anderson is no stranger to high-profile tournaments. She has made the NCAA Division I women's golf tournament field three straight years. She also played in the U.S. Women's Open in 2011.
