A Moorhead man accused of sexually molesting two children at a daycare formerly owned by his wife has pleaded not guilty.
Jon Pabody is charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct.
Court documents show when Pabody turned himself in, he admitted to molesting two girls on two separate occasions.
Ken Kludt, Pabody's court-appointed attorney, told KFGO News preparing for the trial will take time.
"Right now, with two open files of this nature, and probably eight inches of discovery paperwork, this would be both a complicated trial for both the state and the defendant," said Kludt. "It will take some time to prepare from both of our standpoints."
Prosecutors claim Pabody told one of his victims to perform a sex act, or she would be spanked.
Pabody remains in the Clay County Jail on $200,000 bond.
