Fargo Daycare Shut Down After Liquid Leak
2009-11-22

FARGO, ND - A Fargo, ND, daycare was evacuated after a liquid leaked from an adjacent business, causing a chemical odor.

Fire units responded to Tons of Fun daycare in the 4100 block of 13th Avenue south just after 4:30 p.m. Friday afternoon.

Children were moved to another business in the strip mall until their parents could pick them up. It turns out the liquid was a dry cleaning fluid that seeped under a wall into the daycare.

City environmental helath director Miles Schacker was in charge of notifying parents and assisting Camelot Cleaners with taking care of the spill.
