Becker County Man Suffers Burns After Stover Explosion

DETROIT LAKES, MN - A Becker County man suffered burns to his hands and face when his propane cooking stove exploded north of Audubon this morning.

John Kohler, 65, was treated and released from the Detroit Lakes, MN. Fire chief Darcy Savig says Kohler was preparing a trailer house on his property for guests at the time.

It appears the stove had a leak. The trailer had minor fire damage.
