North Dakota Farm Bureau (NDFB) has hired Conor Smith as the organization’s Leadership Development Assistant for the southeast part of the state.
“Conor’s experience has largely encompassed international affairs and business,” said NDFB Director of Leadership Development John Jacobson. “His interest in politics, enthusiasm and past experiences makes him a tremendous fit for this position.”
Conor is originally from Wahpeton, N.D. and holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Georgetown University and received a Master of Law from Fudan University in Shanghai, China.
“I’m very excited to come home and work with the farmers and ranchers of North Dakota, after spending years abroad,” said Conor. “There’s something special about our home state, and I want to give back even a little bit of what it has given to me.”
Conor started his duties on February 12 and is based out of the NDFB Fargo office.
