FARGO, ND – U.S. House Candidate Pam Gulleson was joined by North Dakota agriculture producers and leaders in the agriculture industry today in Fargo to discuss the pending House Farm Bill legislation.

Gulleson spoke about the importance of a quick passage of a Farm Bill before the September 30th deadline.

“It’s important that the House passes the Farm Bill so that it can get into conference to resolve the differences with the Senate version. In North Dakota we realize that farm policy is economic development – it creates jobs, sustains stable communities, and gives our nation the food security we need to stay competitive in the world economy,” said Gulleson.

The group discussed the different paths that this legislation could potentially take over the coming months.
