Livestock-handling Expert to Speak at NDSU

Temple Grandin to speak Jan. 25

 

 

 

 

Temple Grandin, an animal science professor at Colorado State University who is known for her innovations in livestock handling and advocacy for people with autism, will speak at North Dakota State University on Friday, Jan. 25.

 

Her presentation, “Different, Not Less,” will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the Memorial Union Ballroom.

 

“Temple Grandin,” an award-winning film about her struggles with autism and her accomplishments, including becoming one of the top scientists in the humane livestock-handling industry, will be shown at NDSU on Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. in Sudro Hall, Room 24.

 

The NDSU Animal Sciences Department is hosting both events.
