Hi Doug:
Well, just received word of my acceptance into a mule deer buck hunt in Wyoming by bow on November 1/4. Getting my personal crossbow tuned up for the hunt. I have never hunted mulies before, but they tell me they aren't as wildly as whitetails, but bigger. Last year they had a contest for the largest rack taken out of that area and my roommate at the time took a B&C rack out of there and won the prize. Think it was a free mount. I was hunting elk then by rifle and wasn't involved much. This hunt is my third hunt of the year, joining my fourth year of hunting whitetail by rifle with the DNR at Rice Lake in Minnesota and another whitetail hunt by crossbow along the Missouri. Hope to fill the freezer again with meat with enough surplus to feed those who are in need that I know, or will know. Nothing like sharing food to make strangers into neighbors. Unless another outfit pops up with another hunt, these three are it for the rest of the year.
