Garmonyou Wiles (Cass County Jail)
HORACE, N.D. (KFGO) – The search has ended for a man who’s accused of shooting a co-worker at a construction site at Heritage Middle School in Horace Monday morning.
Horace Middle School, Horace High School and Horace Elementary were placed in lockdown.
Cass County Sheriff Jesse Jahner says a man was shot in the hand during a dispute with the co-worker. It happened in the school parking lot. He says the two men were on an expansion to the middle school.
Garmonyou Wiles, 40, of Fargo was later arrested on charges of reckless endangerment, aggravated assault and terrorizing, all felonies. The car he was believed to be driving was found in the parking lot of an apartment building near 42nd Street and 18th Avenue South in Fargo.
The school lockdowns were lifted after about two hours.
